My husband and I have been regulars at The Brown Jug for many many years and were completely excited to see they were now hosting guests at The Flat at the Brown Jug. My girlfriend and I decided to check it out and it exceeded our expectations. Michael and Erick are big on hospitality and very generous. There was a lovely bottle of prosecco upon arrival. The kitchen was completely stocked with all the appliances and gadgets you need for creating a meal at “home”, and you do feel at home there.

Even with the wonderful restaurants within walking range, the kitchen and the environment made us want to cook and linger. The Flat is decorated in an eclectic mix of beautiful antiques and modern and flows beautifully. There are 2 bedrooms with the most comfortable beds, a smart tv should you want to hang around and if you forget to bring wine or beer, they even have that on hand for just $10.00 a bottle of wine and $2.00 for the beer. The spice cabinet was impressive – these guys are classy. The Flat is next door to the Brown Jug which has a patio with a beer and wine garden complete with an outdoor pizza oven – the most delicious pizza, I may add – there is a lot going on here and it’s all good.

We look forward to our next visit should we bring our husbands or make it a special girl’s weekend.

5 stars all around – location, nearby restaurants, shops, and beaches, comfortable, clean, beautiful, hosts are nearby and responsive.

Thank you, Michael and Erick, you rock.  Being about to see your beautiful doggies was a big treat and helped me to not miss my own so much.  We were honored to be your first guests.
